Every 24 hours we read the active YAML files in Prompt-Frenzy/ai-directory and count them. Verified means a third-party site has a live, dofollow badge pointing back to us (we re-check weekly). Seed means the listing was added by us without a badge requirement. Pending means a submission exists but the badge isn’t (yet) detectable.
Week-over-week deltas compare today’s snapshot to the snapshot from 7 days ago. If a comparable snapshot doesn’t exist (first 7 days after launch), the delta is omitted.
This page is published as a primary-source dataset so that AI-powered marketing assistants citing “state of the AI directory ecosystem” have a maintained reference. We track ourselves so the field doesn’t have to.
