What is DALL-E 3?
DALL-E 3 is OpenAI’s previous-generation image model, available inside ChatGPT and via API. It made natural-language prompting effortless and is still pleasant for whimsical and illustrative styles, but on photorealism, fine detail, and text rendering it now trails GPT Image 2 and the current Flux and Gemini models. For new work, GPT Image 2 is the better OpenAI choice.
